The hotel was built in 1968 and became a witness to some of the grandiose and glamorous social gatherings in Metro Manila.This hotel features bright colors and functional furnishings that suit the modern and elegant feel fit for working professionals on a trip. Its Php500 million renovation was designed by international acclaimed designer Sonia Santiago-Olivares.

The Manila Pavilion Hotel is a first class hotel set at the middle of Manila’s commercial, entertainment and tourism centers. The hotel has 486 lavish rooms. The hotel is owned and managed by Waterfront Philippines Inc. This hotel features bright colors and functional furnishings that suit the modern and elegant feel fit for working professionals on a trip.

The hotel was originally built in 1968. It has since then become a witness to some of the grandiose and glamorous social gatherings in Metro Manila. It has undergone several changes in ownership and re-branding. In March 2013 it has completed a P500M renovation of the upper floor rooms. These were designed nonetheless, by internationally-renowned designer Sonia Santiago-Olivares.

Deluxe Room Facilities

There are 146 Deluxe Rooms located on the 18th floor that the hotel offers to guests. The rooms have twin beds, chairs and a coffee table, a work station, mini-bar and refrigerator. It has ample space for guests to move around. The rooms also have individually controlled central air conditioning. A 40-inch flat screen LED TV with cable television features. Complimentary Wi-Fi internet access is also available. Power sockets are readily available for guests to charge their gadgets on.

These rooms are perfect for those who are looking for a good place to enjoy and relax without having to travel far. The rooms offer a comfortable ambiance for those who plan for a “staycation”. The beds are comfortable enough for tired bodies to resign and recharge to gear for the coming work week.

Private Bathroom

A spacious bathroom is the dream of every hotel guest and they can look forward to getting such at Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel and Casino. The wall is lightly colored and is a perfect contrast to the granite bathroom countertop. Colorful prints serve as an accent to the room. A glass panel separates the toilet from the shower area.

A rain shower makes the bathing experience better. Guests can set the hot and cold shower according to their preference. Toiletries are also provided along with dental and shaving kits. Clean and dry towels are also provided.

Ambassador Room

The 21st floor houses the hotel’s Ambassador Rooms and Suites. The units have spacious bedrooms, top of the line interior with elegant themes of browns and reds. The living room and the dining area are separated from the bedroom. The private room also has a bath tub.

Aquino Suite

On the 20th floor is the Presidential Suite named after the late Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr, the Aquino Suite. The room is predominantly yellow, the color that is easily identified with the former senator and the people power revolution of 1986. This room is so elegantly designed that it suites the character of any head of state.

Food and Beverage Outlets

The Manila Pavilion Hotel features restaurants and cafes that offer both local and international cuisine. Seasons restaurant on the ground floor serves buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also have a la carte dining. The restaurant offers Filipino, Asian and Western cuisine. Up to 150 guests can be accommodated in the spacious restaurant.

The Patisserie is a café that serves pastries and deli items and coffee and non-coffee beverages. It is also located on the ground floor and is open from 6:00AM until 12:00 midnight daily.

Also on the ground floor is the Boulvar Sports and Music Bar. This resto-bar serves international dishes and offers nightly live music performances. It features a wide selection of premium and international liquor, wine and beer brands.

View from the Hotel

One of the highlights that guests can look forward to is the Manila cityscape. The rooms give a breath-taking view of the foreground where the Department of Tourism building stands. The Luneta Park is also seen where the monuments of Jose Rizal and Lapu-Lapu stand proudly. At the background are the museum of the Filipino People, National Museum and the iconic clock tower of the Manila City Hall. Skyscrapers also line the horizon.

On the 21st floor, guests of the Presidential and executive suits can stay at the Ambassador Club Lounge. This is an exclusive space for them where they can be served with complimentary breakfast buffets, cocktails and beverages. The dining area can accommodate 22 guests.
