Gerry Apolinario, even in his college years, always dreamt of putting up a place where all people could just enjoy good food and hang out. Because of his passion for cooking and love for grilled dishes, he thought of a venue where both can be enjoyed. He wants the environment to be fun, wholesome and fresh. The original concept is a place where people can enjoy a drink or two but things have changed as it became a family restaurant. In the years since it was established, Gerry’s Grill continues to evolve to respond to the growing needs of customers.
Gerry’s Grill continues to reach as many customers as it can. From its first restaurant in Tomas Morato corner Eugenio Lopez Avenue in Quezon City, it now has 50 branches all over the country and three branches in Singapore, 2 branches in the US and one in Doha, Qatar.
The restaurant’s reasonably priced dishes, friendly staff, comfortable ambiance and accessible locations, it is no wonder why many people choose to dine and spend celebrations and random days at Gerry’s Grill.
One of the high promoted delicacies served in every branch of Gerry’s Grill is the blue marlin; so much so that this is also used as the restaurant’s logo. The fish is served in four ways. The best seller however is their sisig, a dish of fried pieces of pork and shredded to very small pieces. It originated from Angeles City in Pampanga and has since then become a very popular Filipino dish. In Gerry’s Grill this dish is also served in tuna and milk fish versions.
Price ranges from 150 to 1300 for group meals. There are also seasonal dishes offered. One things for sure, Gerry’s offers scrumptious food which range from Filipino to Asian favorites to Grilled Seafood.
The Best Sellers
Crispy Pata is one for the celebrations. The crispy skin and juicy meat would be perfect for beer sessions. This is served in two options: PhP 465 for regular and PhP 585 for large servings.
Inihaw na Pusit (Grilled Calamares) is perfect for those who want to go for the healthier and tastier grilled option. Each half kilo serving is at PhP 355 per serving.
Sizzling Sisig is another favorite and is at PhP 196 per order. Other best sellers at Gerry’s include Pork Sisig, Beef Kaldereta, Beef Kare-Kare and Inihaw na Manok (Grilled Chicken).
Apart from walk-in diners, the restaurants can also be booked for functions and meetings. There are function menu packages that start from PhP 400 per person to PhP 550 per person. One can choose from the set menu packages.
Those who want a taste of Gerry’s Grill’s famous dishes but lack the time to visit the restaurant can also call up for delivery. Orders for delivery are accepted from 9:30AM to 8:30PM. Metro Manila delivery hotline is 332-1111. Minimum order is PhP300 with a delivery charge of PhP30. For orders exceeding PhP500, delivery charged is waived.
