Dagupan Bus Co., Inc. is founded in 1974 and holds main office at EDSA corner New York, Cubao, Quezon City. The operation started when the franchise of Villarey Transit was acquired. Villarey just had six Mitsubishi Fuso buses that runs thus with Saulog Transit Inc, the operation expanded to Northern Luzon. The livery of buses had dirty white with maroon, red and green stripes. It later adopted white and red livery during its re-fleeting in 2007.
Just like other major bus companies in Luzon, Dagupan Bus Co., Inc. also has modernized its fleet. There are buses that are equipped with automatic transmission such as the Nissan Diesel engine powered buses. The company has Hino, Mitsubishi Fuso, Yutong, Isuzu and Nissan Diesel buses on its fleet.
In 2010, the Saulog Transit Inc. and Genesis Transport Service Inc. entered into an agreement for long time cooperation as well as allocation of the franchise of the former. Genesis Transport shouldered the assets of Saulog Transit when it was learned that the Saulog clan has not been able to shoulder the annual contributions to PhilHealth, Pagibig and SSS. In 2011, Dagupan Bus Company gave up routes to Cagayan which were transferred to GV Florida Transport. They used ordinary buses which were manufactured by Del Monte Motor Works Inc. in honor of the agreement signed by Saulog Transit Inc and Genesis Transport Services Inc.
