Heny Sison Culinary School traces its humble beginnings at the Sison’s condo home village in Pasig in 1985. Heny was teaching cake decorating while she also accepts orders of cakes and baked products from relatives and friends. She honed her skills by attending various culinary lessons in the Philippines and abroad. Upon her return to the country in November 1987, she and husband Benny decided to setup Heny Sison School of Cake Decorating and Baking. The following year, the school was set up in her aunt’s garage in Greenhills.
The clientele grew rapidly with the school’s reputation continues to draw positive recognition. Heny Sison also inched her way into being known as the Wedding Cake of Style and Elegance. Her popularity also opened doors for TV guesting stints, feature articles in magazines and newspapers and hosting gigs for cooking segments and shows.
In 1994, Heny added various cooking courses to accommodate the interests of students. It demanded a bigger space to accommodate the growing number of students and with this the Heny Sison Culinary School was born.
